The District of Katepwa Office will be closed for the holidays starting December 23 at noon and will reopen on January 5 at 9:30 a.m.
🚧 Driveway Snow Ridges ❄️![]()

Driveway snow ridges are an unavoidable result of winter road maintenance, regardless of the equipment used.![]()

The District takes reasonable steps to keep ridges to a minimum while ensuring roads are safe and passable. Any snow left at the end of a driveway is the responsibility of the homeowner to remove.![]()

While this may be inconvenient, it is a standard practice and allows crews to clear roads efficiently for the entire community.

🐕District of Katepwa reminds all residents and visitors to help keep our dog park safe and enjoyable for everyone!![]()

Handlers must remain within the park and monitor their dog’s activity at all times.![]()

Dog handlers are responsible for:![]()

🐾Any damage to trees, bushes, fencing, or park amenities![]()
🐾Any injury caused by their dog to another person or animal![]()
🐾Dogs that dig holes must have them filled immediately by their handlers.![]()

Supervision & Age Requirements![]()

🐾Handlers must be 16 years or older.![]()
🐾Children under 15 must be accompanied by an adult.![]()

Health & Behaviour![]()

🐾Dogs must be leashed until safely inside the off-leash area.![]()
🐾All dogs must have current vaccinations.![]()
🐾Dogs in heat or puppies under 4 months old are not permitted.![]()
🐾Aggressive, sick, or disruptive dogs must be leashed and removed immediately.![]()
